Eight-day movement with striking mechanism on the hour.
Straight oak case with arched head, two pillars next to the dial, and bronze decoration at the top of the case. 
Bronze arched dial with silver-plated chapter ring with Roman numerals, date, small second hand below 12 o'clock, 'strike' and 'do not strike' at the top, bronze applications. 
 
Signed on the dial, "John Green London."
