Very high quality eight-day running mechanism. Anchor escapement and central second hand with a copper weight on pulley. Wooden pendulum rod with heavy copper lens.
White enamel dial with Roman numerals.
Polished case with mahogany tympanum, except for the back wall (spruce).
 
Signed on the timepiece, "Johan Leuenberger Sumiswald, 1825-1891."
