This is one of the oldest forms of a comtoise with an eight-day movement with going-, striking- and alarm clockwork and a compulsory strike on the half hour.
The dial has a chapter ring with Roman numerals, one hand, archers and corner pieces above the brass numerals.
The middle part is coloured red which gives the clock a separate appearance.
The pendulum is a string with a ball.
