Eight-day movement with going- and striking mechanism on bell.
The clockwork rests on 2 bronze pillars on a polished black wooden base. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and Brequet hands.
Signed on the clockwork, "Gilles Rouma Liège."

Gilles Rouma is listed as a resident of Liège in 1769 and took care of the maintenance of the clockwork of the Cathedral, Saint Lambert and the town hall. In 1793 he received the title of Horloger S.A.C. from the Prince of Liège (Florent Pholien l Horlogerie au Pay de Liège).
